Two concerts in as many days...

We went to the Vancouver Folk Fest for the first time this year, and saw Bryan Bowers perform this song.

I expect this to be my new Sully theme song. Speaking of ... Guff made this awesome video about that very road trip which i'm about to embark on once more.

Last night we went to Barnone (don't bother, unless there's a show you want to see), and saw Talib Kweli.... his music has always helped us get by.

.... some interesting skateboard news. The district of North Vancouver passed a by-law making it illegal to ride on only one of their roads. Fortunately for me, I don't understand.  Also James Kelly got jameskelly'd... remember kids yougetwhatyougive.

No Posts for June!

I've just been busier then ever... with both work and play. Here is a brief synopsis of whats gone down.
Our garden is coming along and other than lettuce the only thing we've harvested thus far is radish. This is pretty awesome considering it was neglected for two weeks while Laurel and I were honeymooning. NYC CPT
LBC... need I say more? SF PDX... now that was a sweet ride.

Don't forget your flashlight.

I've been asking friends this question of late, and subsequently taking pictures of their everydaycarry.

Ripple Ridge was beautiful

We had the cabin to ourselves on Sunday night, and got an early start (by our standards) to the day on Monday.

Phillip's new board worked great for acid drops and shredding pow. We enjoyed many fresh lines that day. Hiking can be quite dehydrating, but the snow is refreshing. mmmmm...

It was especially nice to see the sun come out for our last day up at the cabin.

Back to Nelson I go!

Three years ago Phillip convinced me to take an avalanche course with him. Not only did I start this blog on that trip to Nelson BC, but also met my wife (she's a babe).

I flew to Castlegar two weeks ago to climb some mountains. Jim Z picked me up from the airport, and we drove to the maintenance lot to find Phillip. A few steps later we were atop Evening Ridge... what a view!

Phillip is excited to have his own board! Chilli Thom makes beautiful art.

Remember

... this plan is good for business, but not the people. We are sovereign and will not give that up lightly. Seriously, you can't own the water!

Remember

... how cold it was in March? I don't personally, but that's not really the point.

P-Swiss took these photo's and they're a lot of fun.

Occupy Vancouver

Or wherever you're from. It's time to stand against all that is wrong in not just this country, but the world.
