Photography is dangerous

The Salt Spring Slasher (2nd race of the season) went off without a hitch. Maybe a skitch or two... thanks Gord! Adrian put a bunch of us up at the English family homestead, and after a day of racing we tested Kevin's new incence burner while sitting around the fire. Mr. English made us breakfast the next morning before we departed for the campsite on the side of the racecourse where we hooked up with the remaining troops that were down to free ride the island. There was a slight mishap and I unfortunately used my face to smash my camera lens on the pavement. So if you'd like to see the last set of photos that lens will ever take, check out UNKLE.CA or click the photo on the right.

The Weekend Adventures...

Seem to never end. Last weekend we hit up Vancouver Island. Mt. Tolmie in Victoria provided for some awesome photo opportunities. We also kicked off the race season with The Sultan of the Shredder, where Andrew destroyed his competition.Check UNKLE.CA for Tolmie and Shredder photos. Next up... The Salt Spring Slasher.

Almost winning.

The fine art of sandbagging, brought to you by Strike. Lee and myself threw this footage together last night, after a beautiful sunset seawall cruise. It's a little rough, much like this race. Cut us a little slack though for our first time with i movie, she's a tricky one.
